Who is the user?
As a product designer, prioritising and deprioritising features is crucial when building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Here, I went ahead with planning the product to only support the adult audience. That makes the user very clear - Salaried individuals.
Information Architecture
Once everything was planned out and approved, I went ahead with the information architecture of the application. Even though, the scope has been narrowed down, it was still extremely challenging to make sense out of everything and build a task flow. After several iterations and failures, I did come up with the Critical User Journey(CUJ) and the overall structure of the app.
EMPHASIZE & DE-EMPHASIZE
The primary objective of the MVP relates to swiftly and efficiently presenting the product's fundamental value to its users. By giving precedence to specific features, I made certain that mandatory functionalities were established upfront, enabling prompt user interaction and verification. This method aids in early detection and resolution of user requirements and difficulties. Assigning lesser importance to non-critical features expedites development timelines, minimises intricacies, and maintains the MVP's concentration towards its fundamental role.

CHALLENGES & LEARNINGS
It was extremely challenging and interesting to design a food delivery mobile application, ensuring intuitive interfaces that accommodate complex customizing processes.
I learnt building a flexible and scalable design foundation that can accommodate future iterations and expansions of the product without sacrificing usability or performance.
Since this was the first ever version of the product, I also had to plan the kind of brand impact it will be making.
I learnt to embrace an iterative approach, which only refined the product and added value over time.
